Once the labs are in, we will discuss your best options for treatment. Treatment could include pellets, creams, gels, lozenges or capsules. You will see results within a few days to weeks. We will redo labs in order to make sure you’re in the “zone” periodically and troubleshoot any problems.

Insurance may cover the consultations and labs. We also accept cash for consults via cash, checks, debit or credit cards, health savings accounts and flexible savings accounts. If you’re paying cash for labs, we work with labs that discount their prices. Call us for rates. Insurance may cover some of the therapies such as estradiol and progesterone, if not, the compounding pharmacies we trust have reasonable prices.

Both Dr. Tim and Dr. Preeta are BioTE certified. BioTE is a type of hormone replacement therapy where testosterone and/or estrogen pellets (the size of a rice grain) are inserted under the skin. (Progesterone is given orally). Hormones are released slowly over time until they become depleted and the process is repeated.
